Let Your Greyhound Race in One of the Most Iconic Tracks at Dapto Dogs

 Dapto dogs is one of the most famous and iconic racing grounds for greyhounds situated in NSW, Australia. On 27th July 1936, a licence fee was paid to kick off greyhound racing at Dapto, and Dapto Agricultural & Horticultural Society sub-committee was chosen to control greyhound racing. The first event of greyhound race and the meeting was held on the 25th February 1937 which offered prize money of £108, and the club was approved to organise 40 race meetings a year.

The present-day scenario

The Dapto Greyhound Racing Club had a track of grass until late 1991, but after that, it was one of the first Greyhound racing tracks to become Loam. It provided greater ease for the participants as they could race at a more incredible speed. The Dapto Greyhound Racing Club completed further improvements to finish off the bar and office in 2006. The betting ring area was also enclosed to create a new room next to the bar. A new track was built in 2006, and the slipping track was built in 2012. The racing is held on Thursday evenings, and 10 races are held every night.

Besides providing a spacious track and ample space for the participants in Dapto dogs, the ground also hosts sophisticated dining and bistro facilities for the spectators. There is also a well-planned dining room overlooking the tracks and showgrounds for full enjoyment of the spectators. There is also the Grandstand Complex, modern betting ring and air-conditioned kennels for the well-being of the participants. The club continues to improve its facility and tracks so that the greyhounds can race effortlessly and the spectators can also enjoy in the best possible way. It is one of the most famous grounds for greyhound racing.
